A Letter From Gili... (The Sunset..)

If the whole world was watching this dazzling sunset…

Then it now knows exactly why some people –included me- deem sunset in Gili Trawangan to be one of the best features this cracking world could give

I was sucked into silence, silence of bliss, knowing this moment of life was just in the making as continued magic feeling kept flowing like the red wine

While standing near shoreline, all of sudden, the trueness of perfect creation by our Dear Lord occupied this entire mind and I knew truthfully how greatness was His creation to this wonderful earth

No complaint was spoken nor was there grievance of hot weather which disrupted previous night sleep which earlier I was longing for to be perfect sleeping moment

But there was just about ecstasy, a feeling of thankfulness, a place where I could be as free as I wanted before the night took me to a pub where nice band was playing “Welcome To Paradise” while a tempting offer of Mushroom –a perfect way to heaven- was in offer

There was a time when I was lost in panache, mesmerized by startling color of sunset that you might claim as the best color of the day

There was a time I was wordless when trying to find obvious border of shoreline where ocean ends, when beach starts

There was a time; many times I was speechless…

If asked whether this sunset was the best in the world, it was still arguably one of the best, but it was surely one of the best moments of my life, standing near shoreline, watching sunset crawling back while wishing for another perfect sunset would visit me again tomorrow

Till then, I should rush for another moment of this day, a time to seize the music, a moment to taste grilled sea foods and a right time, perhaps, to wish all of you a very good night before fragile wind of Gili took me away in dream

I wish to see you in my dream, a striking dream of Gili Trawangan…

By now I know I’d be forever in love with this amazing place, Gili….

A Letter From Gili ...(The Beach)

A morning of joy was given here

Stunning sunshine wrapped me in smiles when walking down stairway only to find blue ocean was there waiting me to swim while a thought of grabbing tasty breakfast was crossing my mind too

For a while I knew this first day was made in heaven

As my breakfast was over I stalked into the beach, finding powdery sand in my barefoot before trapped in overjoyed feeling because to be in Gili Trawangan was one of my best wishes on this year

Lush scenery of Blue Ocean was painted in meters away and who dared not to be amazed with such vibes?

Who could say no to such “heaven on earth”?

Now the color of blue was just everywhere…
And Blue Ocean was the only view of the day to indulge any jovial mood, realizing a day like this wouldn’t come every week or every month

So don’t blame me if beach loves me and don’t judge if l love snorkeling like second to none because snorkeling was the only way to see underwater creature which was indescribably beautiful

Again, I love snorkeling and you might laugh at me as I wish I were a Nemo –a smart clown fish-, I wish to swim freely, play joyfully and dance cheerfully with any of loving creature

I saw some nice corals too, colorful textures were shared in brilliant view and endless admiration to our Dear Lord continued like no other end

When sun hit the peak I ended up with snorkeling but I knew I’d be back to resume another love affair with snorkeling and Nemo tomorrow

Until then, I’d keep writing again and next I’d write about astonishing sunset
